I really enjoyed this sex/bdsm shop the owner was friendly and so was the other employee working as well and helpful.

I would say this is my new favorite shop in the Pittsburgh area they had a huge variety of items with multiple rooms and a variety of toys, clothes, and equipment.
They even had a decent Plus Size section which I was super happy about

Their prices are more affordable compared to the other sex shops around the Pittsburgh area.

They even have a dungeon upstairs that can be rented out for private use by the hour or for parties...the only downfall was that we could only tour the dungeon at 8:00p.m after the store closed, it would be more beneficial if they were able to give tours throughout the day

Don't... just don't... you'll be sorry.

Horrible owner, moldy nasty smell, dirty store, & way way way overpriced. Wish I could give this zero stars.

Went in when they re-opened after COVID-19.
Owner was old, crusty, and SUPER RUDE.
Went in with two friends & we were all browsing with money to spend - fully intending on buying plenty.
After less than 10 minutes in the toy section, he got annoyed we were there and yelled at us to get out.
The poor employee was helpful yet embarrassed, as she was clearly uncomfortable with the owner's attitude as well.

This place is clearly not interested in being a business - would not be surprised if this was a front for money laundering.

A group of eight of us went to The Outer Skin one Saturday evening, looking for outfits to wear to a party. Upon entering, we asked the older man at the counter for help locating a particular item we had seen on the website ahead of time. He glanced at the picture on the phone and grumbled, "If we have it, it'll be over there," while pointing to a large wall, filled with various items. He wasn't very helpful and I chalked it up to his not feeling comfortable helping several women pick out lingerie.

The real issue began when my friend actually found the outfit she was hoping to purchase. We went to the dressing room and she tried it on. It fit perfectly and she had all intention of buying it, when she noticed there was a slight tear in the back near the lacing and a mark on it from what looked like permanent marker. Disappointed, we took the item to the front desk to ask if they had another, similar item for purchase, since this one was damaged.

The man glared at me and scanned over the rest of the possible outfits we had laid out on the counter with the intent of trying them on in the fitting room. He stared at me and stated, "I looked these things over. I don't want to see no tears when I get them back." I was astounded! Was he REALLY implying we had torn the previous outfit? We're 30-something year old professional women, not rowdy teenagers. At no point had we been boisterous, disrespectful or done anything to give the impression we were there to cause harm. I responded, "Are you implying we ripped the last one?" He refused to make eye contact. It was at that point we gathered our belongings and all eight of us left the store.

Each one of us entered The Outer Skin with the intention of spending money. There is no way to exaggerate how rudely we were all treated. Going forward, we will be sure to take our business elsewhere.

My daughter and I went to the store on velintimes day, we were there for a hour, the lady that was helping us was helping and nice,they had a lot to choose from,they even had a value rack which was nice, she picked up five outfits and a couple other things,a nother customer came in and we were done,we go to check out and a older man was ringing us out, her order was 110$ he rang up 123$ so she explained to him that 2 of the outfits were on sale, he turned around to the counter and grab all the outfits and told us to get out of his store and don't come back,go to
K_ Mart, were so shocked we just stood there in what just happened, we have never been treated that way in such disrespect, we were speechless,
It's important for me to write this review,no customer should ever be treated in this matter.

Man working here (most likely the owner) was horribly rude. Save your time and frustration and use Amazon or another shop.

Lied about plus sized item and then although I didn't wear it, couldn't get my money back

Yes i went to an adult store. For what you may ask Jockstraps cause i walk alot and it helps you not get gaulded if you have big thighs. I think this place is in a bad location. But the service is excellent and prices not too bad. I definitely be back for other stuff!

my boyfriend, best friend and i went in here today to go look at some new toys. we walked in and were greeted by a super nice young woman and were let into the back of the shop ( it had a gate on the back). as we were back there browsing the older guy that is in there (i guess the owner ?) started making super rude gestures at us. after we had been browsing he said loudly "two minutes. you have two minutes " the three of us looked at each other then he said a couple seconds later "OUT !!! EVERYBODY OUT" and ushered us out of the back area and we left. extremely unprofessional and rude ! i have been here before and never had this kind of experience. extremely disappointed and appalled !!
